Introduction

Hi I’m Karen I am a qualified nutritionist and have a huge passion for how food can help your wellbeing and quality of life.

A little bit about myself I am in my forties, even though I don’t feel like I am or don’t want to admit it. I have a very busy life working, being a mum to a teenager which is always entertaining and a huge passion for nutrition.

I have always been interested in health and nutrition and since having my son who had to have a complete milk free diet my interest developed further so I decided to take qualifications to further my passion and knowledge and I am still going now as there is always new things to learn and I do enjoy learning, which yes can sound a bit strange to some people. I am one of those people who can’t sit still watching television so you will find me reading more on nutrition while watching television. Yes I can multitask although my partner would disagree!!

Intolerances can have a huge impact on your life and you may not even realise it is food affecting you or you could be deficient in certain vitamins and minerals and this can affect how you feel.

I am realistic understand how busy life can be and I am a hug fan of chocolate and this will never change. I don’t believe in fad diets, I believe in moderation and enjoying food.

It is amazing how much food can affect your health and wellbeing.
